Pinnacles Overview

Location: Central California, east of the Salinas Valley.

Entrance Fee: $30 per vehicle – valid for 7 days. (America the Beautiful Pass grants entry)

Size: The park spans over 26,000 acres (approximately 40.63 square miles).

Highest Elevation: North Chalone Peak is the highest point with an elevation of 3,304 feet (1,007 m).

Popular Spots: Bear Gulch Cave, Balconies Cave, and High Peaks.

Popular Hikes: Condor Gulch Trail and High Peaks Loop, Moses Spring and Rim Trail Loop, and High Peaks and Balconies Cave Loop.
